Within the DMARC Analyzer Suite one can find the DMARC Aggregate Reports section in the left side bar. It is possible to group data from the DMARC aggregate reports in multiple overviews: the per sending source, the per result, the per organization and per host overviews. In this article we will explain how these overviews work. Make sure to have a look at our instruction videos.
- Per sending source overview
- Per result overview
- Per organization overview
- Per host overview
- Detailed stats overview
- Manually uploading DMARC reports
In the per sending source overview all data is grouped based on the source of the emails. DMARC Analyzer divides the sources between DMARC compatible sources, forwarding sources and failed. The green groups show sources DMARC Analyzer identifies as compatible. The blue groups are forwarded emails which may need to checked. The red groups show failing sources which are not yet in DMARC Analyzer’s sources library. . For more information please refer to our video about the Per sending source overview.
In the per result overview, all data is grouped based on the DMARC result of the emails. The green groups are emails which are DMARC compliant. The blue groups are emails which are technically valid, but with an SPF or DKIM domain unequal to the ‘From’ domain(not aligning). The red groups do not have a valid DKIM or SPF authentication result.. For more information please refer to the demo video about the Per result overview.
In the per organization overview it is possible to see the top 20 organizations sending DMARC reports to the implemented domain(s). Use this overview to detect if a specific report was already processed, or to see which senders are sending reports. For more information please refer to the demo video about the Per organization overview.
In the per host overview we do not group data based on the result, but based on the host. This will make it easier to detect sources that have not been set up correctly yet. Expand a row to get insight into the authentication results for that specific source. For more information please refer to the demo video about the Per host overview.
The detailed stats overview shows the individual results. It provides more detailed information about the results.Expand a row to see the development of that result over time. Analyze the data in this table and use the specific details to track the source of invalid DMARC results. For more information please refer to the demo video about the Detailed stats overview.
On the manual upload page, DMARC reports can be uploaded manually. DMARC Analyzer will then process the reports. Allowed archives are .zip and .gz(ip). For more information please refer to the demo video about how to Manually uploading DMARC reports.
